To use the Map Deduction Import, add the codes for deductions from your time and attendance system to the Map Deduction Import Table, and select the deductions corresponding Deduction Code. Verify that the code is active and enter a description in the Description field.
An organization with an external time clock has the pay codes from the time-keeping system mapped to system codes. For deductions, the Map Deduction Import Table is used. One record should be added for each pay code that corresponds to a deduction.
