Work Week Begin and End Times

On the Weekly Timesheet, the "workweek" changes when the Work Week Begin Time starts.

• Work Week Begin Time.  The work week begin time is defined on the Attendance tab within the Employee Time Master and is in military format.
• Work Week End Time.  The work week end time is the minute before the Work Week Begin Time.

A Week Begin Time of 0:00 (midnight) is recommended. A calendar day begins at 0:00 and ends at 23:59.

The work ending date and time are displayed above the seven work days in the week.

The week start time can be defined from 00:00 to 23:59. To accommodate standard calendar days or offset work days, a work day can be defined to span any 24-hour period. Any time other than 0 or 0:00 causes each timesheet day to be for a range.

• For instance, a begin day of 1 and begin time of 1 cause the first day to be from Sunday at 12:01 AM to Monday at 12:00 AM.
• More commonly, a begin time of 17:01 (which is 5:01 PM), causes the work day to end at 5:00 PM and begin at 5:01 PM.

Go to the location and department to define default week start times for new hires. The location's week start time is used when the department's week start time is undefined.
